Database Design and Programming

The first part of this course will cover the basics of database design – organizing information models into attributes, objects, and relationships. All resources will be provided.

The second part will introduce the T-SQL programming language, which we’ll use to create, delete, and manipulate data. For this part of the class, students will need to bring their own Windows laptop computer with WiFi Capabilities. They will be performing an online installation of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, which is a free (safe and legal) download. Please contact me if the computer is an issue – we may have a very limited number of loaners.

Basic computer and typing skills required.
