Description
Travel back in time to early United States history! This theme-based writing curriculum allows students to delve into the excitement of explorers, battles, land expansion, famous ships, and founding fathers while learning to write with the Structure and Style writing method.
Offering a full year of instruction, students will work through IEW Units 1- 9 as they learn to take notes, retail narrative stories, summarize references, write from pictures, summarize multiple references, write essays, and compose formal critiques.
Please come with U.S. History-Based Writing Lessons Student Book. I also suggest using IEW’s Fix It Grammar at home, starting at Book 1.
This is a continuing class from Fall Session. Will only accept new students ONLY if they have prior IEW writing experience.
