This U.S. geography curriculum connects the stories of Native American tribes, intrepid explorers, hopeful pioneers, and determined individuals with the lands they built their lives upon. These stories introduce students to the vast variety of landforms, biomes, and ecosystems that can be found in the United States.

We will be studying the Western United States over 13 weeks.This is a class for GRADES 4-6 and we will be covering the WESTERN US only.
Students should bring the following supplies to class each week:

    • Composition book
    • Crayons or colored pencils
    • Pencil or pen for writing

Required books for reading at home for participation in class (some books are at the library and on hoopla):

Optional books for reading at home which will not be reviewed in class. These books are for further historical fiction set in the states we will be learning. It is recommended to chose at least 2-3 books to read over the course:
