Description
Hands-on Horticulture and botany lessons with a small amount of writing & journaling. Lessons developed around gaining basic scientific plant knowledge, how to grow a backyard garden, fun experiments, and few garden art projects. A portion of our backyard gardening lessons will be helping sow seeds and transplant seedlings for our co-op’s annual plant sale. More opportunities to help with plant sale will be outside of class time but not required, and open to the whole co-op to participate. Expect a few experiments to be sent home for observation homework.
